Junior Chef
Full Time

Lorne is a special place, a well-loved, independent neighbourhood restaurant known for serving proper plates of food. We love seasonal cooking and have a small, focused menu that changes regularly. Our kitchen is led by Head Chef Graham Brown, whose experience spans top restaurants in London, New York, and Scotland. He works alongside a tight-knit team, including our long-standing sous chef Claire Patterson.

We’re proud to have built a supportive, friendly and balanced kitchen environment where collaboration, respect and consistency matter as much as creativity and drive. We care about flavour, precision, and working with good ingredients treated simply and well.

We’re looking for a junior chef to join our team, someone reliable, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a professional, quality-driven kitchen with a real love and interest in food.

Expert Training

We do regular menu training and tasting in-house, we have suppliers come in and do training with the staff, we visit suppliers and there is the possibility for Lorne to contribute towards external qualification courses such as WSET.
